Swedwatch
Safeguarding human rights and environment in business
Swedwatch is an independent, non-profit research organisation striving to empower rights holders and to promote responsible business practices. Through research and dialogue, Swedwatch highlights the impacts on people and planet by unsustainable business operations, and builds bridges between stakeholders in order to affect change.
Long-term goals
Swedwatch applies a rights-based approach in pursuit of three long-term goals: responsible use of natural resources, sustainable supply chains and an expanded civic space. Read more about our goals

Swedwatch’s work is based on international human rights and environmental law, international conventions and voluntary guidelines, including the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals in the 2030 Agenda.
